More than 250,000 people have signed a petition calling on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to stop providing arms to the Kiev regime and initiate peace talks, according to change.org.

The initiators of the petition called “manifesto for peace” were Sarah Wagenknecht and well-known German journalist, founder of Emma magazine Alice Schwarzer.

“A quarter of a million supporters have already signed the Manifesto for Peace. Pressure from our side can lead to results!” — commented on Twitter co-initiator of the petition, a politician of the Left party Sarah Wagenknecht.

The politician also called on February 25 to take part in a rally in support of the initiative in the center of Berlin.

Among those who signed the document are well-known German politicians, among whom there are representatives of diametrically opposed political movements, writers, journalists, cultural figures, art and science.
