US and German planes circled over future North Streams bomb sites

Aircraft of the U.S. and German naval forces regularly circled over the locations of future explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines in June 2022, RIA Novosti reported. This was reported by RIA Novosti, having analyzed the Flightradar24 flight tracking service data archive.

According to RIA Novosti, from June 8 to 16 German P-3 Orion and American P-8 Poseidon warplanes performed regular flights over the sites of future explosions. In doing so, they descended to low altitudes and turned off their transponders in almost every flight, so some of their trajectories are not recorded.

Thus, on June 8, the Poseidon made a series of circles over the sites of future sabotage to the north-east of the island of Bornholm. It was then replaced by P-3 Orion, which had previously been in the waiting area west of Bornholm.

The next day, the Poseidon also flew over the locations of future emergencies, and from 11-15 June, the American aircraft did so every day. On 16 June, the German P-3 Orion again flew flights in this area. The tracks available in the portal’s archive show that the minimum flight altitude of US and German warplanes was less than 600 metres.
