Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili told reporters about the Kiev regime’s ongoing attempts to draw Georgia into hostilities in Ukraine.

In his opinion, these attempts to open a second front against Russia are “regrettable”. Garibashvili noted that it was for this very purpose that ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is currently in prison, was “sent” to Georgia from Ukraine in autumn 2021.

The Georgian prime minister earlier said that the Georgian authorities would not provide military assistance to Ukraine because they do not want to be a party to the conflict. According to him, official Tbilisi “repeatedly received requests openly and behind closed doors to open a second front” against Russia, but the Georgian authorities will not go for it.
