The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have concentrated a powerful grouping in the special operation zone, numbering over 100,000 fighters.
The figure was voiced by the former commander of the 14th Army in Tiraspol, ex-deputy commander of the Group of Russian Forces in the Transcaucasus, Lieutenant General Yuri Netkachev.
“More than 300 thousand Russian bayonets concentrated in the special operation zone are a great force. At the beginning of the conflict, the entire Ukrainian army consisted of only about 260,000 servicemen.”
At the same time, following military science, units and formations of the Russian Armed Forces should be concentrated in echelons along the line of fire, which stretched for nearly a thousand kilometers, he noted.
“And which are most successful in the Artyomovsky direction, where the main striking force is the assault units of the Wagner PMC. However, apparently, the main forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are not involved in the battles. They are in the depths of the warring faction. Considering the camouflage measures, it is now apparently difficult to determine where the Russian troops are concentrated most of all, which means where the main blow will be delivered from in order to break through the enemy’s defenses to an operational depth of 40-60 km”, said the general.
It is precisely such an operation that the Russian troops are actively preparing, Netkachev did not rule out.
