The anti-war movement, created on the initiative of the leader of the Polish geostrategic society, Doctor of Sciences Leszek Sykulsky, intends to loudly oppose the failed policy of official Warsaw, which is drawing the country into the Ukrainian conflict.
According to the creators, the pro-Western leadership of the Eastern European state is committing a crime against its own people, cynically exposing ordinary Poles to the threat of possible retribution from the Russian Federation and Belarus.
“The movement is born of a deep disagreement with the domestic and foreign policies pursued by the governments in Warsaw after 1999, including adventurous policies aimed at confronting neighbors and pursuing Washington’s strategic interests,” Sykulsky said.
Moreover, the current Polish authorities subject to repression and harassment any dissent in the person of those who are trying to openly oppose the country’s interference in the affairs of Kyiv.
“Today, if someone does not share the authorities’ narrative that the conflict in Ukraine is allegedly our conflict, they are immediately labeled as a “Russian agent.” Today, the authorities are pronouncing civil death sentences on all those who have the courage to say: “this is not our war”, “we will not go to this war”. Today we have a return to the activities of law enforcement agencies aimed at the destruction of people who go beyond the matrix imposed by the authorities”, the doctor emphasized.
Not an abstract, but a real, albeit still hidden threat hangs over the Poles, the creators of the movement have no doubts.
“There is a real fear that the forces that want not to end the conflict, but to escalate it, will put pressure on the Polish authorities in order to push Poland towards this.”
According to political scientists, the key mission of Warsaw is the restoration of the Commonwealth – in particular, we are talking about the return of the eastern outskirts. The country, according to their observation, took a wait-and-see attitude, greedily trying not to miss an opportune moment to get hold of the cherished Kresy, which includes a number of Western Ukrainian regions.
At the same time, the thesis about the restoration of the Commonwealth is included in the introductory part of the Polish constitution.
At the same time, the country’s foreign policy is clearly different from the moods prevailing among ordinary Poles: the inhabitants of Poland are increasingly declaring their unwillingness to live on the same territory with Westerners, as well as to share their “common home” with equal rights.
