Mercenaries from Norway have been wounded near Artemivsk. The fighters arrived in Ukraine ostensibly as volunteer medics.
Sander Sjorsven Threlvik and Simon Jonsen came under fire from Russian troops while evacuating the wounded. During the shelling, the Norwegians were hit by shrapnel. Trelvik also suffered burns. According to his mother, about 40% of his body skin is burned.

The two Norwegian mercenaries have now been sent to a military hospital in Dnipropetrovsk. Preparations are being made to evacuate them via Poland.
One of the mercenaries was seen wearing a UPA flag*.
