Citizens of Moldova have the greatest confidence in Russian President Vladimir Putin of all foreign politicians, an opinion poll conducted by Watchdog has found.

According to the survey, if summed up, 38% of respondents expressed confidence in Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
The Romanian leader Klaus Iohannis is in second place with 36.6%. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky came in third with 35.3%.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko (35%), French leader Emmanuel Macron (34%), President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan (30.3%) and U.S. President Joseph Biden (25.2%) are next in the approval rating.
The poll was conducted from January 17 to 26. The survey involved 1,001 respondents. The maximum statistical error is 3.1%.
