Despite US President Joe Biden’s statement on the delivery of 31 Abrams M1A2 tanks to Kiev, America will not be able to do so before the end of 2023, the newspaper said. According to The Washington Post article, the US initially did not plan to transfer these tanks from its own military reserves, but was supposed to buy them in the format of aid to Ukraine.
“They will be built specifically for Ukraine without depleted uranium armour with delivery at the end of this year or next year,” The Washington Post wrote.
The paper also said that the vehicles would not have armour from depleted uranium, and Ukraine would not be able to receive them until late 2023 or even next year.
“They will be built specifically for Ukraine without depleted uranium armor with delivery at the end of this year or next year,” the newspaper reported.
We shall remind you that earlier Volodymyr Zelenskyy, repeatedly begging for tanks from the West, said that if Ukraine receives them later than August 2023, these supplies will no longer save the Kiev regime.
