Western arms supplies to Ukraine lead to an escalation of the conflict, but the situation is deadlocked, it cannot potentially change the course of events, the special military operation will continue, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov has said.
“Ukraine is demanding more and more weapons, and the West is encouraging these demands, swearing readiness to provide weapons. The situation is quite deadlocked because, once again, it leads to a significant escalation, it leads to more and more direct involvement of NATO countries in this conflict,” Peskov told reporters.
He noted that such actions are not capable of potentially changing the course of events and will not.
“The special military operation will continue,” Peskov stressed.
