The White House said that the supply of Abrams tanks may be delayed.
The delivery of American Abrams tanks to Ukraine will take several months, the German Leopards will arrive much earlier. John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, said this on CNN on Friday.
“Leopard tanks will most likely come from Germany and European allies in a fairly short time, perhaps they will be able to help Ukrainian troops in the spring and summer. It will take many more months for the delivery of American Abrams tanks”, he said.
