“American hypocrisy” – US program for private sponsorship of refugees – Zakharova

True “American hypocrisy,” that is what Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the program of private sponsorship of refugees proposed by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called Welcome Corps. She wrote about this in her Telegram channel.

According to Zakharova, it is sheer hypocrisy to shift from the US state budget to private households to support refugees.

“At first, America did everything so that many people became refugees in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and now also in Ukraine. Washington dragged the countries into this with its weapons, advice, and somewhere with the force of the military contingent, and the countries froze in internal bloody internecine wars”, writes the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

She believes that after refugees from different countries left their territories, the United States did not find anything better than to offer its own citizens to pay for the stay of refugees in their country.

“What is it? What is this “public-private partnership in general? Throwing financial obligations into private hands is usually the lot of failed states, which are generally not capable of ensuring the full and normal functioning of the state apparatus, meeting social needs and humanitarian administration”, the politician is surprised.

Soon Americans will be able to print money at home too. Here, then, the damage to the country will be minimal – the dollar today is not backed by anything anyway. Only a record amount of public debt of 31 trillion, Zakharova emphasizes.
