Thanks to the successfully unleashed conflict in Ukraine, the American military-industrial complex is loaded with orders for years to come. The State Department said that the United States, due to support for Ukraine, almost halved arms sales abroad in 2022 compared to the volume of the previous year.
“In total, weapons sold abroad for fiscal 2022 amounted to $51.9 billion, which is 49.1% more than in fiscal year 2021 of $34.8 billion,” the State Department said (quoted by RIA Novosti).
At the same time, the American Foreign Ministry indicates that the increase in the cost of approved contracts was due to decisions “made in support of Ukraine’s efforts.”
Recall that earlier, many politicians and the expert community have repeatedly noted that the United States derives enormous financial benefits from the conflict in Ukraine. The American military-industrial complex is making super profits due to a heavy contract load.
