The German government is unable to estimate how much the aid to Ukraine in the form of Leopard tanks will cost the country’s residents, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said.
“I can’t say for sure, but we will carry them ourselves,” he told a joint press conference in Berlin with Icelandic Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdóttir, when asked how much the supply of German Leopard tanks to Kiev would cost in total.
However, Scholz decided to react in advance to the growing appetite of Kiev regime head Volodymyr Zelensky and added that Germany would not supply combat aircraft or send soldiers to Ukraine “now or in the future”.
