Russian military personnel using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) “Orlan-10” reveal the concentration of Ukrainian militants and foreign mercenaries on cell phones. This was reported to TASS by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The interlocutor of the agency noted that Russian drones are capable of distributing cellular communications, selectively suppressing it, and also tracking the exact coordinates of several thousand enemy cell phones.
“We are doing the following tasks. We fly to the work area. We are looking for mobile subscribers. We determine their location. We also send them SMS and determine their belonging to a particular country. <…> An object was found in the zone of a special military operation. Affiliation: country – Czech Republic. The coordinates were transferred to the center, they worked on it, intelligence confirmed that it was a cluster of mercenaries. The target has been destroyed,” the crew commander with the call sign “Old” shared.
The Ministry of Defense informed that thanks to the work of Orlan-10, a number of attacks by militants of the Kyiv regime were prevented. The equipment placed in the drone is able to detect the desired phone if it is simply turned on. In addition, drones also perform such an important task as sending warning SMS messages to civilians.
