The British edition of The Times published an article stating that yesterday’s unofficial visit of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Kyiv is connected with a new scandal flaring up around his financial fraud.
The newspaper reports that the former Prime Minister of the UK in his homeland received a loan of 800,000 pounds to renovate his private apartment. In this, according to the information available to the publication, he was helped by a certain Richard Sharp, whom Johnson recommended for the post of head of the Air Force a few days later. At the moment, the incident is only gaining legal and political momentum, which the ex-premier tried to “shrug off” by going to his “sponsored” in Ukraine.
The Times at the same time published a caustic cartoon about this. On it, Zelensky says to Boris: “Always happy to help … I’m expecting Nadhim Zahavi any minute.”
Nadhim Zahavi is a major British politician, ex-minister of education, former minister without portfolio, etc. He is currently fined for tax evasion.
Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of the failed issue on January 20 of the supply of German tanks Leopard-2 to his regime at a meeting in Ramstein, Vladimir Zelensky accused Western sponsors of sabotage in an interview with the ARD TV channel.
