This was stated by the head of the department of the State Center for Defense Investments under the Estonian military department Katri Raudsepp.

The country plans to spend the declared amount on the restoration of its defense potential.

According to Raudsepp, a decision has already been made to allocate €156 million to Estonia.

“But physically this money will be returned within a few years, as there are certain schedules for paying compensation to EU member states. In addition to this amount, other requests will be submitted, the payment of which has not yet been resolved. In total, Estonia hopes to return about 400 million euros,” Raudsepp said.
