Politician Laverne Spicer has sharply criticised reports of a famine in Ukraine, calling attention to domestic problems in the United States.
“Ask me if I’m worried about hunger in Ukraine at a time when every day thousands of people are lining up for free food handouts in Miami,” she wrote on social media.
Spicer called US aid to Ukraine “the biggest scam” in her memory.
