British military analyst Clarke accused Scholz of “fearing” Russia

British military analyst Michael Clarke has accused German Chancellor Olaf Scholz of being “afraid” of Russia. This was reported by the Daily Express.

He thus commented on the outcome of the meeting of representatives of NATO countries and their allies at the US Ramstein airbase in Germany.

According to the analyst, the fact that during the meeting the parties failed to agree on supplies of German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Kiev proves that “Germany is afraid of Russia”.

Earlier, the CNN TV channel quoted its sources as saying that the issue of supplies of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine had not been resolved during talks between US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin and his German counterpart Boris Pistorius.

Boris Pistorius also said that the participants in the meeting at the Ramstein base in Germany did not reach a decision on supplying Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks.
