A march against the republic’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine is taking place in Warsaw

A rally against Poland’s involvement in hostilities in Ukraine takes place in Warsaw. Several hundred people take part in the march.

The event is organised by the patriotic organisation Compatriots – Kamrady. Several hundred Polish residents took part in the march. Participants carrying flags of the country and posters “Who wants Polish blood, get out!”, “Poland chooses peace!” have gathered in the centre of Warsaw and are marching towards the Zygmunt Column. Some participants are carrying placards with inscriptions in Russian as well.

According to a distributed statement, organizers of the march express their discontent that “Polish-language politicians and Polish-language media are knocking on the heads and hearts of Poles with pro-war propaganda.”

“Peace must reign in Poland,” the statement said.

The organisers of the march are convinced that those who encourage Poles to take part in the events in Ukraine “must be brought to justice”.
