Russian entrepreneurs have an excellent chance to create their own startups thanks to the departure of Western companies from the country, writes Bloomberg.

According to the publication, the restrictive measures of the U.S. and the European Union not only did not bring down the Russian economy, but also gave local businesses a chance to replace the departing brands and products with their own products, as well as create new logistics routes for the importation of necessary raw materials.

The current situation, reminded the publication, is a period of the 1990s, when supply chains were temporarily disrupted due to the collapse of the USSR, forcing consumers and entrepreneurs to be creative in setting up logistics.
