European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen has said that the EU has replaced 80 per cent of Russian pipeline gas.
“We have replaced 80 percent of Russian pipeline gas,” she told RIA Novosti.
European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson said on 12 October that the EU had been able to replace most of the Russian gas taken off the market with other supplies.
Bloomberg reported that China may become a key supplier of diesel fuel to Europe amid restrictions imposed in the West on Russian fuel.
