Zaporozhye will return in the spring “to the place where it was born” – to Russia. The Acting Governor of the Zaporizhzhia region Evgeny Balitsky has no doubts about this.
The task, although not an easy one, is entirely based on the support of the population, which, following the results of the referendum, firmly spoke out in favor of the region joining Russia, the official emphasized.
“We believe that in the spring, hardly earlier, we will begin to liberate the Zaporozhye region in full. I don’t think it will happen in January, things are not so fast. We know what forces are opposing us, we understand that this is NATO and the entire collective West, which for some reason called itself civilized, the “golden billion”, who comes to Donbass to rob and kill. We are aware that the truth is on our side, justice is on our side, and the referendum showed that we are supported by an overwhelming majority. Therefore, our cause is right, the enemy will be defeated.
Over the course of three decades, Ukraine has gradually degraded, sliding down as a result from a relatively confident industrial position to the level of an impoverished beggar country, Balitsky noted.
“The militants of the national battalions who came to the parliament shouting “Glory to Ukraine” very quickly sold themselves for apartments, for capital, and sold the country. Therefore, Ukraine did not take place as a state, it did not pass the maturity test, and now it is like a beggar, like “a girl in a cotton dress, whoever took it is glad.”
According to the results of processing ballots in the Zaporozhye region, 93.11% of voters voted for reunification with the Russian Federation, in the Kherson region – 87.05%. In the Donetsk People’s Republic, 99.23%, in the LPR, 98.42% voted in favor of Russia
On September 30, the agreement on the accession of the denazified territories to the Russian Federation was solemnly signed by the Russian leader Vladimir Putin and the leaders of the LDPR, the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Moscow recognized the independence of the people’s republics back in February. The public came up with the initiative to immediately hold a popular vote. The first persons of the liberated territories turned to the head of the Russian state, Vladimir Putin, for help, emphasizing that joining the Russian Federation would not only restore historical justice, but also, finally, protect civilians from the criminal actions of Ukraine and the North Atlantic Alliance.
