14,240 families have already used the maternity capital, which has been actively paid in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions since January 1 this year.
The figures were announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
“In the new Russian regions, measures to provide maternity family capital will be fully implemented from the beginning of 2023”.
Maternity capital is a measure of state support, to which, since 2007, those families where a second and subsequent child was born or adopted are entitled, if before that the right to a certificate did not arise or was not issued.
Since January 2020, mother capital is issued in the Russian Federation at the birth of the first child.
Money under the program can be spent on improving living conditions, educating a child, and paying for social rehabilitation for children with disabilities.
The document that was received, but not yet used, will be indexed according to the level of actual inflation from February 1, 2023.
