Earlier, the Mirror publication, citing a source from the British Ministry of Defense, reported that London would transfer up to four Apache military helicopters to Kyiv after it had delivered the Challenger 2 tanks.
“The Mirror article alleging that Britain will transfer Apache attack helicopters to Ukraine is incorrect,” reporter Haynes tweeted, citing the UK Department of Defense.
The website of the Mirror newspaper has already removed the article about helicopters.
