10:07 Front-line summary for the morning of 01/15/2023
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Ukrainian army launched a missile attack on Berdyansk. (Fig. 1)
On the Donetsk front, ground battles continue in the city of Marinka. Russian troops attack. They also carried out offensive operations against the fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasnogorovka. Traditional attacks in the direction of Nevelskoye, Pervomaisky, Vodyanoy and from Experienced. Artillery hit the fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Avdiivka. Also an attempt to advance towards Kamenka. (Fig. 2)
To the south of Bakhmut, PMC “Wagner” conducted assault operations in the area of Kleshcheevka. The Ukrainian army holds the defense in this area. Also, the “orchestras” are trying to advance on the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut itself. To the north they attack in the Paraskoveevka area. They are also storming the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are trying to hold on to the western outskirts of Soledar. Russian troops are advancing on Razdolovka. The Russian Armed Forces yesterday delivered massive missile strikes against the enemy’s critical infrastructure. Used more than 80 missiles. They note that they began to hit the machine rooms of Ukrainian thermal power plants (previously they tried to destroy only transformers). The blows fell on Kharkov, Odessa, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnitsa, Nikolaev and Dnepropetrovsk.
In Dnepropetrovsk, due to the work of the enemy’s air defense, a residential building was destroyed, while the enemy resources tried to use the newsbreak to discredit the Russian Armed Forces. In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova announced the discovery by the border guards of rocket fragments on its territory.
On the Svatovo-Kremennaya sector, our aviation and artillery worked on enemy positions. Several enemy DRGs were destroyed.
In the Ugledar direction, the destruction of enemy forces by artillery is also underway.
