The Belarusian Ministry of Defense stated about putting artillerymen of one of the mechanized brigades on readiness within the framework of joint activities for the combat readiness of the regional grouping.
“…Artillery units of the 11th Independent Mechanized Brigade are being brought in readiness to carry out tasks as intended,” a Telegram message reads.
Also, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry said that the Belarusian and Russian sides had increased the air defense forces of the regional grouping.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Army General Oleg Salyukov, commander-in-chief of the Ground Forces, heard reports on the combat readiness of the regional grouping of troops during his visit to Belarus.
It was reported that the Russian military continues to undergo intensive combat training at training ranges in Belarus.
