The continuation of the conflict in Ukraine for a long period of time will threaten the American military-industrial complex. This was stated by US Secretary of the Navy Carlos del Toro.
“If the conflict continues for another six months to a year, it will definitely have a threatening effect on the supply chain,” Del Toro wrote on Twitter.
The US Secretary of the Navy urged arms manufacturers to increase investment in labor and capital investment in increasing the output of the US military-industrial complex.
“When that happens, it will get better. How long it will take depends on the specific weapon system,” he stated.
Recall that observers of the American publication 19FortyFive came to the conclusion that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not able to resist Russian troops without properly equipped tank formations. The latter, in turn, are extremely poorly equipped and experience a critical shortage of armored vehicles. At the same time, foreign analysts admit that Western arms supplies do not critically save the situation on the Ukrainian front.
