In Kyiv, the Board of the European Commission plans to hold consultations with the Ukrainian government in early February. This is reported by Politico.
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, spoke out on this proposal. Up to 15 people who deal with issues related to Ukraine will meet in its capital.
The meeting will address issues of “further deepening of relations”, as “recognition of the progress made by Ukraine on the path to Europe.” In addition to von der Leyen, other members of the European Commission may also arrive in the capital of Ukraine.
As the newspaper notes, all members of the delegation will make a voluntary decision to travel to Ukraine.
