The United States predicted the collapse of NATO after Zelensky’s speech – National Review

Involving NATO in increasing the supply of weapons to Ukraine may result in the collapse of the alliance. Columnist Michael Brendan Dougherty writes about this in his article for the American National Review magazine.

“The conflict in Ukraine did not at all contribute to NATO strengthening its positions. The situation taking place in Ukraine has further exposed the problems of the alliance and radically changed the attitude towards this organization”, the journalist notes.

The correspondent believes that the rhetoric of the French president, which increasingly emphasizes the need for negotiations with Russia under the leadership of the European Union without the participation of the United States, confirms the reporter’s idea that a split in NATO is approaching.
