The losses of the Ukrainian army are huge and incomprehensible, but the Ukrainian authorities do not advertise this. Ukrainian Ambassador to London Vadim Prystaiko spoke about this in an interview with Newsweek.
“We are constantly losing our fighters. Only we do not advertise how many of the missing are military or civilian. You can imagine that these numbers are huge and incomprehensible,” the ambassador said.
He notes that the fighting in Ukraine has given the West an incredible chance.
“There are not many nations in the whole world that can sacrifice so many lives, territories and time to defeat an old enemy,” says Prystaiko.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, admitted that Kyiv is now carrying out a “NATO mission.”
“Without the loss of their blood, with the loss of our blood, so they have to spend weapons,” Reznikov said.
