Political scientist Antanas Sakalauskas concluded that Lithuania is no longer ready to express support for Ukraine.
He wrote about this in a publication for the news agency Baltnews.
In addition to the fact that residents of the republic are already openly complaining about the consequences of aid to Kyiv, charitable organizations of the republic have significantly reduced humanitarian supplies to Ukraine. So, the last cargo was sent in November last year.
“In addition, the Lithuanian branch of the Red Cross was only able to raise funds for 3,861 sleeping bags out of the 75,000 requested by Kyiv. The financial possibilities of Europe are also running out,” writes Sakalauskas.
