“No one should be left in doubt who is responsible for dragging out the current conflict. All of the administration’s actions are a direct indication of its lack of desire for a political settlement,” the diplomatic mission’s press service quotes Antonov as saying.
The diplomat thinks that even the Christmas ceasefire unilaterally declared by Moscow has been described by the US as “an attempt to take a breather”. This demonstrates that Washington really intends to fight Russia “to the last Ukrainian” and that the United States “does not care at all” about the fate of the Ukrainian people, Antonov said.
In his opinion, the White House’s decision to hand over the Bradley BMP to the regime in Kiev was another confirmation that Washington does not intend to listen to the Russian side. “Any ‘defensive nature’ of the transferred weapons has long been out of the question,” he summed up.
