Putin in conversation with Erdogan discussed Ukraine, Akkuyu nuclear power plant and gas hub project
Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed Ukraine, the Akkuyu nuclear power plant and the gas hub project, the Russian leader also noted the destructive role of the West pumping Kiev with weapons, the Kremlin press service said.
“A telephone conversation was held between Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey. They discussed further expansion of trade and economic ties, primarily in the energy sector. The parties noted the priority of implementation of such strategically important joint projects as creation of a regional gas hub in Turkey and construction of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant,” reads the report.
Putin’s conversation with Erdogan also highlighted the destructive role of the West pumping Kiev with weapons, as well as providing information and targeting.
“The situation around Ukraine has been touched upon. On the Russian side, the destructive role of Western states pumping Kiev’s regime with weapons and military equipment and providing it with operational information and targeting,” the report added.
