The author of an article in NewsJournal wrote that the position of US President Joe Biden does not allow him to promise endless assistance to Ukraine.
“The current head of the White House needs to prepare for the presidential election, which is scheduled in the United States for 2024. Plus, Kyiv may lose help due to the unwillingness of Americans to participate in long-term crises,” the article says.
The story says Biden is very good at saying that the US is with Ukraine “for as long as it takes,” but the US president is in no position to make such a promise.
