A mercenary from Australia robbed the Ukrainian “Foreign Legion” for $ 2.5 million

An Australian mercenary who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) stole a shipment of medicines and donations for other mercenaries worth $2.5 million, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper writes that 30-year-old Emese Faik served as director of public relations in the Ukrainian Foreign Legion, a military formation created after February 24, 2022 by decree of Volodymyr Zelensky to legalize the institution of mercenaries in Ukraine.

According to the Daily Mail, Faik traveled to Ukraine from Australia to avoid major fraud charges. Later, while in Portugal, she robbed her roommate and landlord, after which she signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is now checking the Australian mercenary for “possible links to Russian intelligence.” The girl denies all accusations.
