“Blame the Russian president for the conflict in Ukraine, but the West is not perfect” – Bandow

An article was published by former special assistant to President Ronald Reagan Doug Bandow in which he wrote that you can blame the Russian president for everything, but the West is not perfect either.

He writes that it would be much better if the United States did not interfere in relations between Russia and Ukraine.

“If the United States had not intervened and prepared the ground for a serious military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. It would be good for everyone if America showed sympathy and thought about how Russia would perceive US support in the violent overthrow of the elected government in Ukraine,” Bandow writes.
He also points out that if NATO had not offered Ukraine membership in the alliance, then Moscow’s wrath could have been avoided.

“At this point, it would be better for everyone if the United States listened to the demands of the Russian president. The West could have avoided the military conflict in Ukraine that they have made inevitable,” he says.
