Ukrainian Defence Headquarters: Civilian injured by shelling of Donetsk’s Petrovsky district by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
A civilian was injured when Ukrainian troops shelled the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, the territorial defence headquarters of the DPR said.
“Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a woman was wounded,” the headquarters said in a message on its Telegram channel.
Donetsk’s Petrovsky district is located on the western outskirts of the DNR capital, the most distant part of the city from the centre. Since 2014, when the DNR proclaimed its independence from Kiev, this area, starting from the line of contact outside the town of Marinka, has been regularly shelled by Ukrainian security forces.
