The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, according to the analyst, made every effort to protect the hero city from possible attacks and sabotage by Ukrainian nationalists.

“The hero city has now fenced itself off from new attacks from the sea, it seems, much more reliably than from land. Remember how on the night of October 29, seven Ukrainian autonomous maritime strike UAVs made a simultaneous attempt to break through. This week, I personally watched the Admiral Makarov return from another trip to the Northern Bay.

Among other things, a pair of Grad rocket systems deployed in the direction of the outer raid and ready for emergency use are now located on the Northern Mole,” Ishchenko emphasized.

“Four dozen 122mm rockets from each such vehicle are capable of covering a small city block tightly.”

As Lieutenant General, ex-commander of the Air Force of the Black Sea Fleet, Honored Military Pilot of Russia Valery Yurin noted, Ukraine is continuously unsuccessfully trying to “probe” the strengthened defense system of the peninsula with drones, however, the population has nothing to fear.

“They (AFU – Approx.) practically do not succeed in what they wanted to achieve, because our air defense is multi-echeloned: both the far zone is good and the near one works. Plus, each ship has its own air defense system. I don’t think that they (UAV drones) will be able to do anything with Crimea in the near future.”

As for the drone attacks, the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergey Aksyonov urged the Crimeans to remain calm and not to panic, stressing that the air defense system is constantly evolving and undergoing an upgrade process.
