More than half of the Chinese put Russia in first place in the priorities for the development of China’s foreign relations. It is reported by Global Times with reference to the survey.
More than 58% of Chinese citizens consider relations with Russia a priority for China’s foreign policy, while the importance of Sino-US relations is significantly reduced, writes Global Times.
The second place among the Chinese in terms of the priority of developing relations was taken by Europe (45.9%), followed by relations with Southeast Asia (39.7%). Along with this, the importance of ties with the United States fell by 5% points compared to 2021, and now ranks 4th (36.8%), and the relevance of China-Africa ties (19.1%) is 5th.
