An air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine for the second time in 25 December
An air alert has been declared across the entire territory of Ukraine, data from the Ministry of Information’s online map shows.
The warning was announced in the regions almost simultaneously.
The signal was sounded for the second time in a day.
The Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure on 10 October, two days after the bombing of the Crimean bridge, which Russian authorities said was backed by the Ukrainian Security Service.
Energy, defence, military and communications facilities across the country have been shelled.
Kiev estimates that nearly half of the Ukrainian energy system is out of service. In December, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that it is now impossible to fully restore it.
