State Duma suggests Kiev prepare plan to join Russia

State Duma deputy Sheremet has suggested that Kiev prepare a plan to become part of Russia

Crimean State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet has called the Ukrainian authorities’ intentions to return Crimea complete nonsense and suggested that they instead prepare a plan to incorporate Kiev into Russia.

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said in an interview for The Guardian that the country wants to win the conflict with Russia and return the territory of Crimea in 2023. Yermak believes next year will be a decisive year for Ukraine.

“Kiev’s grief-stricken politicians continue to compete with each other in trying to intimidate and blackmail Crimea with their military plans. But all this utter nonsense has nothing to do with reality. They should have started preparing a plan to incorporate Kiev into the Russian Federation by now. I am ready to help draft it,” Sheremet told RIA Novosti.

According to him, even the smallest attempts to encroach on Crimea will turn the current Kiev regime into a disaster they have never seen before.

“The Kiev regime will not have long to tyrannize Ukraine and the Ukrainian people,” the MP said.
