Deputy Prime Minister Novak predicts new global energy crisis in 5 to 10 years

The world may face a new energy crisis. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak.

According to him, due to lower investment in the European Union, energy shortages will begin and the world will face a new round of crisis.

“Within 5 to 10 years, the world will face serious problems. Europe will be affected most of all,” TASS quoted Novak as saying.

Earlier, Wolfgang Kubicki, deputy speaker of the German Bundestag, said that Germany risks turning into a dysfunctional bankrupt state due to its inability to solve the country’s energy crisis.
