The Ukrainian crisis will continue in 2023 due to the intervention of the West, providing support to Kyiv. Such a forecast was voiced by Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar during a speech in Ankara, his words are quoted by TASS.

Akar predicted a slow end to the conflict. He recalled that the United States, Europe and the West continue to help Kyiv both financially and by improving the level of training of Ukrainian military personnel.

“On the other hand, there are statements from Russia. If we combine all this, then it will not be a mistake to say that this war is likely to continue in 2023, despite all our good intentions and wishes to establish a ceasefire and peace,” the head of the defense department concluded.
