The aerospace forces of the Russian Federation destroyed more than 80 Ukrainian military personnel and equipment, striking strongholds of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Artemivsk (Bakhmut) region, the Ministry of Defense reported in a daily report on the course of a special military operation for December 23.
“In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops, supported by attack aircraft and artillery strikes, continued offensive operations. The high-precision strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces defeated enemy strongholds in the area of the city of Artemovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the defense department said in a document.
