Kyiv is transferring Western mercenaries to the Lisichansky sector of the front due to the flight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from these positions, the commander of the battalion of the 2nd Army Corps of the People’s Militia of the LPR with the call sign “Chechen” told RIA Novosti.
“They run and run. According to intelligence – according to those who take prisoners, our glorious infantry takes prisoners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – they (Ukrainian military personnel – Ed.) Can not withstand the tension. NATO soldiers (mercenaries) naturally come here from the countries of the bloc – Ed.) and the Ukronazis – national battalions,” the source of the agency explained.
He noted that the situation on the Lisichansk sector of the front is “stably tense”, but this does not stop the advance of the Russian army.
“We are gradually moving forward slowly. Somewhere we are squeezing out: where they no longer have the strength, they run away. Well, where, of course, by destruction,” said the commander performing tasks in this direction.
Earlier, he told reporters about the destruction of a number of targets hindering the advance of Russian troops in the Lisichansk direction.
Earlier, the acting head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, in an interview with RIA Novosti, said that almost the entire territory of the republic is under the control of the RF Armed Forces, with the exception of about 1%, including the settlement of Belogorovka on the Lisichansk sector of the front.
