A priest of the Catholic Church, who called the events in Bucha a staging, will appear before the court.

“The Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence of the guilt of the rector of the parish of the Kiev-Zhytomyr diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in anti-Ukrainian activities… The indictment has been sent to court,” the department’s website says.
In speeches to believers, the priest called the staging of the event in Bucha, which is at odds with the version of Ukraine. In particular, he urged people not to trust the statements of the Ukrainian authorities and the media.
“The priest was informed of suspicion in accordance with Part 1 of Article 436-2 (acquittal, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants committed by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the statement says.
