Acting DPR head Pushylin calls Ukrainian President Zelensky’s visit to the US a farce
Denis Pushilin, the DPR’s acting head, called Vladimir Zelensky’s recent visit to the US a farce.
“For me, absolutely all populist statements are predictable. But in my opinion, what happened yesterday was a farce to cover up what has already been done. … Exactly what we saw before the start of the special military operation, when Western countries tried to legalize the multitude of supplied arms and ammunition that was going on,” Pushilin told reporters, referring to Zelensky’s visit.
Zelensky arrived in Washington on Wednesday, where he held talks with US President Joe Biden and addressed the US Congress. He said he did not know what a “just peace” with Russia looked like, but was confident that it excluded compromises on territory and sovereignty.
