Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has called US Patriot air defence systems a “legitimate target for the Russian military”.
He also added that other weapons supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in addition to Patriot air defence systems, were also a target for the Russian army.
“Demilitarisation is one of the goals of the special military operation,” Peskov said.
Earlier, Dmitry Peskov said that despite the risks, officials and volunteers would continue visiting Russia’s new subjects.
