The US Congress may pass a bill recognizing Russia as an aggressor state to satisfy, in part, the Zelensky regime’s desire to call it a country sponsor of terrorism. About it writes the edition of The Hill.

The US Congress leadership is hastily preparing to introduce a bill condemning Russia’s actions in Ukraine and recognizing it as an aggressor state. The publication notes that this is an alternative to Washington’s recognition of Russia as a sponsor of terrorism, which the Kiev regime has long insisted on.

The text of the draft law says that after its adoption, the US president may declare Russia an aggressor state and will have the right to “designate any foreign state” as an aggressor state if he considers it “involved in acts of aggression against Ukraine”.

To recap, the White House today confirmed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski will visit Washington DC on Wednesday 21 December. According to media reports, the Kiev regime head has travelled to the US to address both houses of Congress to ask for money and try to buck the negative trend that has been actively developing around Ukraine in recent months. He is also scheduled to meet US President Joe Biden.
