Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has said that the amount of funding this year has enabled a 30% increase in the supply of weapons to the Russian Armed Forces.
“The financial resources envisaged in 2022, taking into account the additional supply of weapons and equipment, have made it possible to increase the number of basic samples sent to the troops by 30%, ammunition for rocket and artillery weapons and aircraft weapons by 69% to 109%,” he said.
Earlier, Shoigu announced the start of serial deliveries of the Zirkon sea-based hypersonic missile.
